A new newsgroup lugnet.football has just been created. Brad Justus of LEGO Direct said that Soccer (i.e., Football) is officialy not part of the Town product line and that it's its own product line. Well, in general, for any NNTP news, it's generally good to use a maximum column width of 79. 80 or higher is bad. 79 is even asking for trouble because people aren't always careful when replying with quoted materials.
