This is of the information plate that comes with the S@H version of the RBR,
this is the only place the name Tantive IV is mentioned. However, the name
of the model on the plate is still Rebel Blockade Runner. Is this different
to the retail version too?

Anyone else want to chime in on this?

Steve

I just opened the retail version I purchased at TRU last Friday, and was
surprised to open the box to find the B&W S@H box inside!  It was a clever
idea, as the kit is quite heavy so the double box provides some extra
sturdiness needed to stand up to the inevitable shelf shuffling.  The retail
box is nothing but a thin cardpaper box with a separate top and bottom
piece, much like a huge clothing gift box.

The inside placard sticker looks identical. I was surprised to see the whole
sticker sheet in black and white, but I guess it makes sense when I examine
the model pictures.

Another note, the back page of the instruction book that features the Star
Wars line shows the RBR and the Darth Maul Bust with a big yellow burst that
says "Only available in Lego Shop at Home and Lego Outlet Stores!".  I think
it is safe to assume that no packaging or other changes have been made, save
for the extra outside box, to the retail version.

BTW, I was unaware that these were in stores until I bumped into the Lego
rep at TRU.  She saw me doing the one-of-each thing with many of the large
Lego sets (I am a newbie in an acquisition phase), and told me to check out
the "huge" set that was out in the front of the store in the (non-Lego
specific) all Star Wars display.

Curious, I went and looked, thinking it would be a Yoda, worrying it would
be a UCS TIE (already have one), and finally discovering it was the 10019.
Two, in fact, lay in their stunningly large boxes on the shelf.

And then there was only one.

(...) Yup, that's what mine is like also. Looks like this set has two box names. Todd and/or Suz, looks like you need to make a decision which is the primary name. I would tend to vote for the retail name (on the other hand, since no matter which (...) (22 years ago, 12-May-02, to lugnet.admin.database)

[X-POST to lugnet.starwars; FUT lugnet.admin.database] (...) I couldn't tell you anything about the plaque in the retail version - it's going to be awhile until I scrape up the $200 for one. Anyone else want to chime in on this? Steve (22 years ago, 26-Apr-02, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.starwars)
