Thumbnail images (was: Re: FreeNetnames comes up trumps!)

(...) Me neither -- it's just a placeholder...but it's getting kind of stale, as you point out. :-) (...) Wow, I didn't know that thumbnails were such a desired feature!   Re: FreeNetnames comes up trumps!

(...) Huw and Grahame are both very welcome to become admins of the Lugnet/Pause sets database if they think they'd enjoy that. Four people currently have admin priv's to the DB (me, Suzanne, Joshua Delahunty, and Selçuk Göre) but we can always use (...)   freestyle sets

Todd, I picked up these two Freestyle sets at the new LEGO store in VA. The names are based on the receipts, so they may not be official. I know I got them for less then retail; I don't know the official prices. 4276 5+ Box w/storage 1998 801 pieces (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Crystal Crawler 1728 / 6145

I have two copies of Crystal Crawler, one is 1728 (1728 Aquanauts box shrink-wrapped with the blue undersea playfield) and the other is 6145 (in an Aquanauts box). Both were purchased at K-Marts in Georgia, USA. Both say 92 pcs on the box. The Pause (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Pause Set Lists

Wow, manual updates sound even more painful and error-prone than my procedure. There are 3000+ lines in that thing, I can't imagine checking every line for changes in theme, piece count and whatnot. I see what you mean, that the linking is what (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Pause Set Lists

I do mine a little differently. I just take the Pause list, print it and then do a line by line compare with the Access database that I use and type the additions in manually. But I don't do it weekly, I do it about once a quarter. There are several (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.admin.database)

(...) I do this too, to keep track of information like what sets I have, what I paid for them, what I have instructions for, and what's missing pieces.   Links to parts inventories

It occurred to me that it might be helpful if there were links to the parts inventories to respective sets in the database. It took me a long time to learn that parts inventories existed and even longer to find them on Lugnet (not that they were (...) (25 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Pause Set Lists

Todd, Are the Pause set lists coming from your database now? If so, can you add the index key that you use to the comma delimited files? I download the Pause set list and then use it to update a database that I use to track which sets I have and (...) (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.admin.database)

372-2 Tow Truck dirs found, sent to KL

This little instructions sheet (Tow Truck) turned up against hope. Scanned and sent it. Pause previously had a link to the other 372 (Texas Rangers) for instructions.   Set additions / updates

Some updates for the set database from info I got from a lot of sealed sets I got from 1979-82: NOTE: I'm not sure if the date listed on Lugnet represents the year available in the US or the year of the copyright on the package. (...) year (...) Where did this come from? I haven't seen anything that says "Futbol" in the catalog, and frankly, I don't think Lego would be dumb enough to refer to the soccer sets this way in the US. It would create way to much confusion.
