Oh, we definitely remember you - welcome back!
We just don't remember member numbers and having complete information makes
it much quicker for us to do the work. Searching that member list is
slightly painful and while I don't think Larry ever uses a cell phone or PDA
to access Lugnet, in the future some meta-curator might, and scanning the
member list from such a small screen might be very painful.
No one should take our requests for member numbers personally.
