Hi, Does anybody know where I can get a good amount of the snap-together tank-like treads such as the ones in #8851. I am trying to gather all the parts I need to make an M1 Abrams tank. This set was available at the VA LEGO Outlet for 19.99 a few months ago. Based on other observations on freestyl sets at the store, I believe the original retail was ~30. This set is a pretty decent freestyle set for parts. -Chris (25 years ago, 22-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

The yellow visors are also available in Set 6519, race-car, as I discovered earlier today. It's a real mine of useful parts, in unusual colours. It's also much cheaper (it was £3.99 - around $8) than the SW sets. However, I wanted a trans-neon (...) (24 years ago, 23-Sep-00, to lugnet.space)

I went to Myer Queen Street today. They have the Robotics Discovery System on shelf but not the Robotics Invention System. They also had the Ultimate Accessory Kit (about 3 of them), priced (from memory) at $112. But note there is currently a 20% (...) (24 years ago, 11-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.au)

I forgot to say that Myer Queen Street have Mindstorm Vision Command (only 2 sets). Sale-priced at about $180, so normal price is about $220. I think the sale lasts until tomorrow Sunday. Kerry (24 years ago, 11-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.au)
