Re: VLL *input* for RCX/CyberMaster (in NQC) ?

(...) Progress report: I decided to completly redo the Shigeru Makino's (mac@research.co.jp) libvll.nqc approach. My pBrick Serial Comms lib will not calculate the 3 bit checksum in real-time. It's cpu time consuming. I think it's faster to have'm (...) (26 years ago, 15-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

VLL *input* for RCX/CyberMaster (in NQC) ?

Is there already any NQC code for *reading* VLL ? I've adapted the libvll.nqc to work *also* with direct connections (OUT port ->lego standard electrical wire-> IN port) using the Off() & Float() mainly for CyberMaster<->RCX comms [Note: By mistake, (...)   Re: how to make 2 rcx cordinate with each other?

(...) I have a simple-stupid piece of code in NQC illustrating communication between two scouts (with the same code on both) which should work fine on an RCX with minimal tweaks - The communications code will work without mods. (URL) is my (...) (26 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: NQC's future

(...) NQC is a language/compiler which works with the standard LEGO firmware(s). I don't anticipate that ever changing. But here's a glimpse of something new for the Spybot target that might be interesting to NQC users. Would 256 (or 128, if you (...) (...) I address this in my 3D CAD class - it's very interesting to see how adults approach building instructions as users (and then creators). There's some very complex thinking going on there. Ever read any of Tufte's books on Graphic (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Developing a "button pressing" RCX system
