  Re: Wal-Mart Clearance is underway! {FOTW}

(...) The buckets with 1x bricks were here in Vancouver before Xmas: I got one just after Xmas for 50% off because it had been opened (was probably a return) but I haven't seen one since. I'm hoping that when they get another Lego shipment with the (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: New Service Packs for 1999..

(...) Don't forget the 4x4 round brick with side holes! Here's some others I'd love to see in a rounded parts pack: - 6x6 rounded-corner plate (fits with the 4x4 quarter-round brick) - 3x3 rounded-corner plate (new for Star Wars, I think) (fits with (...)   Numbers and Letters set, anyone get this?

Pitsco in their new catalog has a set N779816 which is 276 tiles with sans-serif single letters. The description says they "connect to Duplo building plates and bricks". Anyone get these? How big are they? If they are 2x2 duplo studs that may be a (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: TLG investigation

Well I don't mind sorting BEFORE you build.. it's afterwards.. when you've built an MOC that uses 500-1000 parts.. and you're pulling it apart so you can build something else.. I just tend to get a little tired of sorting sometimes.. I just sorted a (...) (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Variations on the "ADDER SUBTRACTOR" ("differtrans" ?)

Hi, fello legoroboticists. My son Michael has a web page via Geocities, where we decided to begin to assemble various lego oddities to share with other enthusiasts. Much interest has centered around the "adder/subtractor" transmission, a design that (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Formation of local train club

Well, I met with the local guys who have been showing Lego trains at the GATS (on and off since '85 I learned!) and let me tell you! But first off, I should say that, originally, I wanted to be in a group such as the PNLTC and so I started (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mn.msp)

I am grateful to one and all creating these 'Variations on a theme' for the differentials! I saw Leo's initial design, ordered the extra differential from S&H (actually, it was a Christmas gift, lucky me!), and assembled it. Nice function, but much (...)   Re: TRU returning open sets

Back when I worked for LEGO in Enfield not many bricks fell on the shop floor and I swept up most of the bricks that were left on the floor and tossed them in a dumpster. LEGO brick versus forklift wheel...you can imagine which object wins. (...) (26 years ago, 28-Feb-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  1970's-'80's collection FOTW?

Hi All, Just picked up a collection that appears to be complete and in excelent to near mint condition, which is great as the majority of the sets were released between 1973 and 1982. It contained plenty of classic lego sets, with instructions and (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

  RCX Train

I finally got my RCX built into a train last night (sorry, no pictures yet). Initially I didn't think it would fit, the darn thing is so big.   Another Adult Friend of LEGO

I think Town Junior *was* a good idea, to a degree. Lemme 'splain!
