  Re: Lego In Chu?

(...) I saw the "Royal King" set when I was in Manitoba last christmas in the dollar store, The box made the set look pretty good, though I happened to find an open one on the shelf and the horse looked like Sh*t. I almost picked it up though (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Out of curiosity, have you ever heard of "Shifty"? They are a Chinese clone that duplicates everything from pieces to sets to logo image. They are a true "clone" in every sense of the word! The only difference is the quality. They certainly (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Lego copy (cant spell plagiarism)

I foun a bit of lego today, as a waitress was clearing a table in a Charlie Chalk Restaurant. Just a small white space wheel, but it felt 'funny'. The sheet of instructions was on the table too - Ice Planet 2002 set 9604 - made by the 'Enlighten' (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Odd 6038 Discovery

Hmmm... I got my 6038s today, and this makes me very happy--sets from my Dark Ages! Glorious things. However, I noticed something, and I wonder if anyone else did as well: My catalogue sheets are in Japanese. I've only opened one (damaged box, easy (...) Here are my guesses. Seriously! I'm pretty good at this. I was able to deduct way before anyone even saw pictures that the MF would use those big saucer sections and that the AT-ST would use shifty-slidy legs. I'm good at predicting these (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Shifty sets: brown beards!

One of the Shifty sets is a copy of Lego's 1932 Wizard's Cart (URL) so you would think if you saw the box featuring a blue wizard with white beard pulling a cart.
