Re: Toy & Hobby Expo Show Report - Town/Train & Space Layouts

(...) Larry whipped up a little SNOT-roofed hamburger joint out of the K8 bricks sometime during the show. I believe it was inspired by White Castle restaurants, but I could be wrong. (21 years ago, 28-Jan-04, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

ENGLISH APT ,COLOURS,Red or Orange stripe?

Hello all, I am collecting parts to build a English Advanced Passinger Train. It will have a 7 wide base, 6 wide top and 6 wide front. And alot of various hinge bricks and plates. It will be based on James Mathis APT design. But I was abit unsure (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Although that would certainly work, there are no right answers that I was looking for. And there are no tests. I just enjoy people who can explain a building technique with just words. I was in a science competition as a teen where one person (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.space)

(...) Hey James, Ha ha! I just knew this would come up. I remember (as I imagine you do too) when that show was first on television. That was long before VCRs (let alone TiVo and such), kids, so when you wanted to watch a show, you actually sat (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Its one of those subjects which compells many people to express their opinions and also seems to attract almost as many different opinions. (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics)

It looks like Tom Stangl hasn't had a chance to get this information and post it for this week, so here's the info I learned yesterday. Please note that the "Limited Quantities" items may well be gone by now (although not due to me). (URL) (hit 1 (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.announce.lsahs)

Re: New colors - an alternative - BULK TUBS for Grays etc.

Snippage (...) I was thinking the same thing the other day. A bulk castle tub with arches, windows, knights, horses ect. And lots of bulk grey brick of all sizes. I'm not even really into castle and I would buy several. So would everyone else. They (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jan-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Proportions for a 2001 Monolith in LEGO?

(...) Congratulations, you win...um, you win...well, you don't win anything, actually, but that pretty efficiently takes care of most of this discussion (though it would probably look better in 2x8 bricks). I'd thought about using pins to do the (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jan-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Searching for colours on Bricklink?

Hi all! I am searching for colours on bricklink, to be exact I am looking for bricks or plates in Dark Blue, up to 3 studs long (1x1, 1x2, 1x3) I haven't found them, but I am not going to look through every single shop there to find it. Is there (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.general)

The group of RCXs around back would be The Sewing Circle. :-) I've reused Project X technology and (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jan-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Flush access door

While working on my latest train I had an idea for an access door. It uses the 2x2x2 container but leaves the door flush with the surface and leaves no gap above the door. I'm not sure if its been done before but here it is. The wacky colors are for (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.space)
