  A Tree (New pictures)

Fellow AFOLs, long ago, I decided to build a Lego tree. In contrast to the usual christmas trees available from Lego this tree should be of proper size and proportions to fit into a given scenario. A first attempt led to the basic building (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.castle) !!

Our family really enjoys collecting the Duplo promotional bricks that Legoland California offers to annual pass members. I recently decided to find a suitable way to display the collection. Hey all, I got tired of responding to myself for updates ((URL)), so I'll start a new thread for the good stuff. A bit of a late update, but what can I say? I'm just finishing up :) Pictures: (URL) The front. I like the little engine details; the (...) I am not sure if using Bionicle parts is fully acceptable in this group, but this is my first MOC Mecha. I found it easier to use Bionicle parts because of the joints. I am trying to learn how to use basic bricks to create the various joints, but (...) (21 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I believe the x-blocks are made by 'popular jegutes' (sp?) a spanish company that made exin castles, looking at the box, the bricks, & stair elements seem to be the same as the exin pieces Jeff (21 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Orginal LEGO-stickers

I just wondering what I can do to preserve the orginal LEGO-stickers? I like to use them one time after I have built the main model in a orginal LEGO-set and take my own pictures of the model. Hi Christian I like your new racer. And I like the colour! (Here's hoping I don't start a whole new "discussion"!) I think the simple style provides a sense/feel of the era.
