Very Cool Jon. The use of those orange bricks is a really neat idea. I also looked at the pictures of Puerto-Bonita. Very neat looking city. When I went to (URL) noticed this statement Thousands of a mm - that's the tolerance of accuracy at the LEGO mould factories. I don't think that you mean that the tolerances are on the order of meters (a thousand mm is a m), do you? Chris (23 years ago, 10-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Surely Lego is a heavier packing material than bubble-wrap and not ideal for this purpose anyway. People would be better off donating (...) A few years ago, I bought two blue buckets with 950 pieces, the item number is 1819, and I wanted to know if this bucket is still available in stores now. I just discovered www.sploids.com which are Lego bricks used to join Lego and K'nex and have ordered some to try. Has anyone had any experience with these? (...) Indeed. They did it before. Ever see the figures available during the mid 1970's? They had Town sets, but no mini-fig as we think of it.
