| | Anyone got lost of discolour white bricks?
| We are starting to work on my next big build, which is a full scale hockey rink, hopefully followed by the stands/building to go around it, but who knows. I started with some discoloured white brick we have, and realized quickly I don't have enough (...) (13 years ago, 21-Dec-11, to lugnet.loc.ca.on)

| (...) My MOC was much smaller and used the combination of 1x1 rounds with 1x3 bricks to make a curved wall. John, was there a reason you chose the 1x2 bricks over the 1X3? (I would ask at the next VicLUG meeting but I thought others might like to (...) (18 years ago, 27-Oct-06, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

| | Re: The high cost of bulk brick building
| (...) It's not *too* bad. The going rate on Ebay for standard colors is roughly $8-12 per 500 bricks. Other less standard colors (dark grey, tan, etc). And if you can find somebody that wants to get rid of 1, 2, maybe even 3,000 bricks it can be a (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

| | Set 1698 not in database?
| I came across a small 1991 basic 3+ set today numbered 1698 which is neither in Pause or on Huw's site. It has english and french writing on the box and looks like a Canada-specific set. 24 pcs, all basic bricks except for eye and smile bricks and a (...) | | Re: bulk ordering
| I expect to pay LD a premium to buy just the parts I want and I don't really have a problem with it (although I thought the red 1x4x6 doors were a bit much at $2.00 a pop). I didn't order any basic bricks. About the only color basic bricks I can see (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.loc.us.nc)

| | Juniorization is (somewhat) good
| I actually like the 1*1*6, 1*2*6 and 1*3*6 bricks to use as walls. I like Burps and the castle walls. I like hollow baseplates. But what I don´t like is when you make sets which consists to 75% of those bricks. Those sets are ugly and bad. Please (...) (25 years ago, 21-Nov-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)
