(...) As far as I know, Lego has never made a 1x4 in brown. The 1x6 and 1x2 have appeared in many, many sets in the past five years, so it makes sense that they could be offered in bulk. It's quite a challenge to build stuff with no 1x4s, but (...) (24 years ago, 20-Feb-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) Well the only ones I know of for sure are the 1x2 and 2x2 regular slopes and the roof ridge half pyramid (triple convex). Unfortunately that doesn't allow for any comples roofs just yet but hopefully LD is considering some, if not all, of the (...) (24 years ago, 21-Feb-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) If were talking about a 'Brown Brick 1 x 4', you may want to go recheck your information. My inventory of the 7144 does not show that part, so I checked the instructions for the 7144. I don't see any of those. BTW, one could make a 1x4 brown (...) (24 years ago, 21-Feb-01, to lugnet.general)
