(...) Framed 2 axle, or two independent truck, 4 axle? In either case, cribbing from the official sets is not a bad approach... 4563 for a 2 axle and 4565 for a 2 truck 4 axle. Both are on BrickShelf instruction scans I believe. Those designs are (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Stairs built with 1/10 offset

Hello, These stairs are my last creation based on a building technique : (URL) During the last days I worked on the 1/10 offset. (...) It's already been applied to the brick. "The brick" has evolved over time both in material and in shape. Take a look underneath some bricks.   Homemade Xmas Gift: Magazine Rack from LEGO Bricks

A couple of years ago, I got irritated by a stack of magazines laying around the house and decided to throw together a quick little holder for them using some DUPLO bricks. (...) Removing the rubber bands doesn't help. The bands are not the worst problem, it's the size of the standard bush which creates the tension. I've tried to replace it with standard pin, but the bands were constantly falling off. I've got now an (...) (20 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

  First Mosaic - Joker

I first saw a Lego mosaic during the master builder tryouts about a year ago (no, I wasn't a finalist), and thought it was pretty cool. Good luck with the model!! For something like that, you may be able to use plates, wings and hinges to make a semi-smooth but very thin shape. Think Hagrid's hut!!
