Yup- got my order in I ordered the tank and the smallest Double Dragon set from Etamiya.com. (...) For smaller length Technic bricks I have found Star Wars sets to be pretty useful, with the added benefit that they often contain many other useful bricks as well.   Millére's Spares adds 12v parts, Liberty bricks and Santa's
 
Hey all, Santa comes late! :-) I just added 500 Santa's and over 100 sets of 12 volt train track/switches to Millére's Spares (URL) I also added ALL the basic bricks (4,972 to be exact) from TWO Statue of Liberty's!   Partial review of 6600 Highway Construction - Comments on the Highway System
 
Well, out Target just put out all the new sets, and I bought most of them (All the castle, all the Star Wars System sets (not Technic), all the Arctic, 6600 Highway Construction, and 6474 Wheeled Front Shovel).   STL File for 3D Printing
 
I'd like to have a few LEGO bricks 3D printed at SIGGRAPH this year. I have a contact who is willing to print up the bricks for me using a StrataSys machine [1]. Can someone please create and send me an ASCII STL file of a 2x4 brick? Also, any other (...) (20 years ago, 1-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.events, FTX)

I don't use exclusively 1x1s... I use other size bricks as well, and at the seams of the baseplates beneath I make sure that I have larger bricks that spans the seams to hold the baseplates together. eric (...) (20 years ago, 26-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

Yesterday was a wonderful first for our family. My 20 month-old daughter attached 2 2*4 bricks together for the first time! Its great to see the delighted look on her face when I open the box of basic bricks with its bags of pretty colours, the (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jul-04, to lugnet.general)

I just recently moved into a new place, as a result I have had to re-do my Lego Storage system, I purchasd a series of IVAR shelving units which are great for Lego and Rubbermaid bins.
