I've heard about people putting bricks in a solution of bleach for over a week to get rid of the "yellowing" of the white bricks. If anyone has details on this process, I'd like to hear them. I don't know about the problems with them not fitting (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

I need approximately 80 1 x 2 yellow bricks with Grille pattern (part 2877). The bricks have vertical indentations on one side and horizontal indentations on the other. Lawrence, I agree with you 100%. Bulk Sales have kind of been pretty stagnant. I would love to see clear bricks in many sizes, macaroni bricks, 2x2 round bricks, and more town windows available. There's been several new additions to bulk bricks: 50x Sand Red 2x4 bricks $6.99 (item #10005) - I assume this is the same color as seen in Life On Mars sets 62x brick sets $4.99 in yellow, green, red, blue, white (these appear to be the same as (...) (...) As Tom Garrison mentioned in the other post, they were produced in all the Trans+ colors. However, the 1x4 without posts underneath were not produced in any solid colors.   Self-modified bricks - pure?
 
Would the purists consider user-modified bricks pure? S'pose I file off the corner of some bricks so they fit together at 45 deg. Is that cheating? (24 years ago, 1-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

Dear Lego, How about making a bulk tub with alternate colors of bricks. Right now you make a bulk tub (3033) with bricks in red, blue, yellow, white, green & black. Each color comes with about 240 bricks, except green & black which have about 120 (...) (25 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)
