  Re: BrickFest 2002 Castle Room

(...) Ooh, holy war alert! I would say that the parapet should shield a standing minifig. Thus, from wall walk to the top the crenal should be four or five bricks, with embrassures at about two bricks. Crenels should be three or four studs wide[1]. (...)   Re: Talk me into Bley at BrickFest

(...) SNIPPAGE HAS OCCURRED (again) (...) I've read Vinyl Dye is better than paint, as it won't put a layer on that'll throw off the geometry of the bricks. Instead, it literally dyes the bricks the color of your choice. You can read more about it (...) (18 years ago, 22-Feb-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)

  Re: new bulk element idea!

(...) Gosh, I hope you mean nothing more than BURPS and grey bricks by that. You could even build break away sections concealing yellow bricks for gold, and so on... -- Richard (more than likely voting for Nader) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.underground)

(18 years ago, 2-May-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: Thoughts on using yellow for a castle...

(...) I bought around 50 of the service packs last year. Which is 700 2x4 bricks alone. Unfortunately there are not as many 1xX bricks in the packs so I am running low on 1xX's now. I still have a lot of 2xX's though so my limiting factor for the (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: [PT] Moving Letter Bricks

(...) Is that why blue ink quads on some of the letters is overlapping the background color in certain places? It makes the ends of the letters in 3005-C.DAT and 3005-J.DAT twinkle a bit when you move the bricks around in ldglite. Don (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Why 5 to 6?

If i remember correctly, Modulex bricks *do* have a 1 to 1 ratio. They were designed by TLG later than the basic LEGO bricks, so this *suggests* TLG retrospectively would have preferred the simpler ratio for the LEGO system as well, but were (...) (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
