| | Re: Shop At Home feedback requested.
| (...) This is my *favorite* concept. CITY themes over the past few years have been basic construction, fire, rescue and police. I would like to see more "everyday" buildings that can fit into an ever-expanding town. Either Americana or European (...) (19 years ago, 16-Feb-06, to lugnet.lego.direct)

| (...) Yes, this above all other ideas. More earth toned architectural elements. A small grocery, a barber shop, a malt shop, a Spamcake Diner® (if they can afford that license:-) (...) Bridges are nice, but big, which equals $$$. Best to give us a (...) (19 years ago, 16-Feb-06, to lugnet.lego.direct, FTX)

| | Lego Graffiti
| Hi all. Seeing as a lot of you tend to do large town scenes for layouts (and I couldn't find a group any more relevant :), can anyone give any suggestions on how to do graffiti on a wall? I have a large (64 studs x 12 bricks) wall in plain grey and (...) (19 years ago, 26-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains)

| | Re: Proposed new colour
| (...) 446 has the yellowish shine to it that I see when I look at track. But color alone doesn't solve the reflectivity problem does it? I think you'd need to also work up some surface settings for POV, right? I suspect changing reflectivity will do (...) (19 years ago, 26-Feb-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

| | Re: Lego Building Techniques
| (...) Dear Mr. Nelson Jr., Thank you for all the great ideas and links. At first I thought you didn't understood what I was trying to say, but as I kept reading you understand what I was trying to say, and you even took it a step further. I really (...) | | Lego Building Techniques
| I have had the internet for quite sometime now, but it was about four months ago that I realized that the online Lego community was massive in both size and Lego techniques. Since I first came on the online Lego scene I have been doing what every (...) (19 years ago, 25-Feb-06, to lugnet.build)

| | Lot of 3 Boat Hulls
| I have 3 boat hulls that need a home. I won't be adding them to a leg or arm of a Mecha so if you would like to add them to your layout, here you go! :P Visit my item on Auction Brick.com! | | Re: Sometimes I feel out of touch...
| (...) I had the same experience recently at Bricks and Blocks. I walk in and there's a whole new series of X-Pods in new outer packaging. I didn't know about either... and X-Pods are one of my favorite product lines. :) If you haven't seen them yet, (...) (19 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

This is especially interesting to me (and Ross) because we (in the sense that I acquire the needed bricks and he assembles them;-) have studied the Hogwarts Express at length, from finding pics and schematics online (...) If you have a stationary outer shell shaped like an open 'U' with three openings (...) (19 years ago, 23-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
