Re: Bulk Bricks and LEGO auctions

(...) I tried that, but couldn't remember the answer to the secret question. :) So when I signed up again, I emailed myself the new ID and password. Now, of course, I remember it without looking. What a twisted brain I am forced to function with. ;) (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Someone, long ago, posted measurements they took which have a better basis for accuracy in my view. The memory is hazy but I think what they did was build a very long wall, ensured it was linear, and measured stud center to stud center across (...) (23 years ago, 5-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad)

The rec.toys.lego faq has information on brick dimensions. You can find it at (URL) see section 13. I might buy one of these on a keyring, if they werent too expensive (no more than $5.00).   Fuzzy bricks?

I just had a very strange idea. What if a 2x2 tile could be heat treated so as to coax up the surface plastic into wispy fibers? Would minifigs like carpet? Would a beat clad in such tiles be fur?
