Re: MudRay, a small one man sub

No, you're fine. The bricks *should* have patterns, but don't. They will be the first things I attempt, if I ever get time to make a patterned brick. :) Oh, and yes, I know we need a "Save As", etc. I'm discussing things like that with Steve and (...) (26 years ago, 14-Oct-98, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Have you seen any of these sets?

I took some, but didn't have time to put them up. I'll try to take better ones tomorrow, and post them. Then once I have the other bricks for the interior, I'll update the page with "optional" interior pics ;-) (...) (26 years ago, 2-Oct-98, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: What's your current project?

(...) Thanks. I'd say the model is fairly strong. The only weak point is where the front, red part is connected to the blue bent beams, it flexes slighly at this point, but probably not any more than it would if I connected traditional beams in the (...)   Re: What's your current project?

My kids and I have just managed to get the extra bedroom all to ourselves (I convinced my wife it would be easier to just close the door on the mess than keep hassling us to pick up the family room). We are setting up a town with what we have on (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.build)

  Q:Window and door terminology

As a fairly new LEGO maniac, I am wondering what the proper terminology is for windows and doors. I understand standard bricks, i.e 2x4x1 (If just 2x4, the third value is understood) but I am unsure as to door and window descriptions. It looks like (...)   Re: Legoland Phoenix

(...) Hmmm... piles of multicolored plastic bricks outside in 120 degree heat. That would make for a pretty surreal scene. All the models melting or cracking. Call it Dali-land. -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 20-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.az.phx)

  Re: What's your current project?

I am currently working on a number of projects: The one project taking up most of my free time is a tower crane. It only stands a couple of feet high, but that is fine for mini-fig scale; however, it does use a lot of Technic pieces. The first phase (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Automated brick sorter

(...) <snip> (...) I built a different type of sorter that separated red and blue 2x2 bricks. It is not as elaborate as yours, but it was a nice, quick Mindstorms project. Pictures are at: (URL) reply to: dbaum at enteract dot com (26 years ago, 9-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics)

  BURPS vs. Playmobil Rock Sys.

As I was looking through Playmobil's '98 catalog I noticed their "rock system." Each rock is a rounded stone shape piece of plastic that can connect to another rock. I thought it was interesting because the rocks could be combined to make large rock (...) (26 years ago, 30-Sep-98, to lugnet.general)

(...) probably lugnet.build is the most appropriate usually -- depending on if you're talking about properties of the bricks or about the companies themselves, you might want lugnet.build or lugnet.general... --Todd (26 years ago, 7-Oct-98, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Storage for the Anal Retentive (Like ME!)

SW sets you'd most like to see

So, what vehicles/bases/etc is everyone hoping Lego will come up with? Here's my two bricks worth: Slave-1 - Mostly, I want to see this set because it would come with a Boba Fett minifig!
