  Re: Slope 45 2 x 2 Double Convex / Double Concave

(...) This piece was made from 1958-72, and only in red or blue. When Lego sloped bricks first came out in 1958 (in red, blue slopes came in production in 1960), it was one of a 13 piece roof system. The other 12 pieces are still in production, but (...) (20 years ago, 26-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Bulk Color Available... Brown!!! Slopes and Bricks!!!

(...) Look at the per-piece prices. Why buy expensive yellow bricks from S@H/LD when it's cheaper (per yellow piece) to buy the Classic/BASIC bins and buckets, even if you don't need anything but the yellow pieces? Steve (24 years ago, 21-Feb-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Any thoughts on making bricks in a 'brick red' color?

(...) I like this idea for a new red color for bricks. I do think that it would be hard to convince Lego to deviate from such a traditional color - heck, my parents sets used white and red in the 60's. If George Lucas would only make a spaceship in (...)   New Grays and bulk bricks

Having seen the "new" grays for the first time, I'm not that annoyed with the "light" gray color. The variation is "cooler" than the old light gray but not that different. Just as older light grays exposed to sunlight take on a slightly "yellowish" (...) (21 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: LEGO Desk

The 'warping wasn't actually a deformation of the bricks, per se... but rather a distortion of the model as a whole. Anyone who has built large 'walls' out of LEGO bricks knows that even at 2 studs thick the walls are quite flexible... the minute (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

  Orange bricks in Artic 2000
