Re: The Unofficial LEGO Advanced Building Techniques Guide

(...) Hi Didier, I think you have done a very good work! It's surprising how it is interesting to read even if you already know the techniques. Some years ago, I read something similar (but really don't know where on internet!) but it wasn't so (...) (18 years ago, 14-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.schleim)

  Re: Wireless RCX Communication.

Allow me to re-state what I am trying to achieve: I have however many RCX bricks, for which I want line of sight communication between ONLY. For the RCX to PC comms, I would like to use some other method that is not limited to line of sight, but I (...) (18 years ago, 11-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Galaxy Explorer the Way it Should Have Been ;o)

Ever since I got my first Mobile Lab (6901) and Galaxy Explorer (497/928) as a child, I always wanted to build the Explorer in the Lab's colors. Finally, after--what?--more than a quarter-century, I've achieved that long-held dream. :o) This Galaxy (...) (18 years ago, 14-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, FTX)

  peeron inventory corrections

OK Dan, I have sent picture of 10144 box picture and correction to inv@peeron.com. Now here is what I am talking about: There are two tan bricks 1x6 on page 7 of the instructions. (...) I do't think it's too short. I think it's too low. But it's a fantastic model. My favourite bit is the texturing with technic bricks with axle holes and axles. The reflection is a great idea too. Tim (18 years ago, 12-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Yeah, I'm hoping this will pay off for Lego, but it is quite a leap from the $300 price point of the ISD (which did phenomenally well) and the Death Star II (which I'm guessing did NOT do so well).
