| | Re: Flesh colored bricks?
|
| (...) Yes Aaron, your fairies made it into the Miniland NYC scene of "MidSummer Nights Dream" And I am proud to say that the retail kit Statue of Liberty that I glued back in 2001, was scavenged, repaired, and is now sitting in the Vegas Cluster, as (...) (18 years ago, 4-Apr-07, to lugnet.color)

| | Flesh colored bricks?
|
| I was poking around brickshelf and located some pix of the new Las Vegas display in miniland @ LLCA and noticed some bricks in a color I didn't recognize: (URL) there anyone who is familiar with them that might be able to confirm? Best, Jonathan (18 years ago, 30-Mar-07, to lugnet.color)

| | Re: LDD - MOC Steam Engine inspired by Streamlined Hudson
|
| (...) Well, I'm no train expert, I only started building train MOCs a little over a year ago, but I'll be happy to share my opinions. And the number one thing you should do, in my opinion, is visit (URL). Ben Fleskes, a Lugnet member, sells custom (...) (17 years ago, 20-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

| | Re: Roller Coaster runs on Monorail Track

| (...) It was designed to be modular - each section is 16x16, and drops either 2 bricks (straight) or 4 bricks (corner). I carried it all in flight luggage, each part wrapped in tight cling-film (plastic food wrap) and I'm amazed the curves held (...) (18 years ago, 29-Mar-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

| (...) I never minded either. Miniland and the traveling shows were inspirational, but I never believed I could build those from my personal collection. But I did have trouble being instructed to actually TELL visitors to the park that they could. (...) (18 years ago, 4-Apr-07, to lugnet.color)

| (...) Thanks, Aaron. Tim, Yeah, that line is BS. If I recall correctly one of the buildings in the New England Village miniland section was Maersk blue. Way before that color was available in such a diverse number of elements. Also, there is a (...) (18 years ago, 30-Mar-07, to lugnet.color)

|
| 372-1: Texas Rangers: inventory is correct. My question, if anyone knows for sure, is there really a baseplate 24x32 with the dots pattern? I have 3 of these sets, all in pretty good condition with the original bricks and none have the baseplate (...) (18 years ago, 16-Apr-07, to lugnet.inv)

| (...) All those weird elements on BL have gotta come from somewhere. I never minded it as a kid and I still don't as an adult. LEGO displays are about displaying what can be done with bricks and since no child (or more than a very few adults) has (...) (18 years ago, 30-Mar-07, to lugnet.color)

| (...) Very nice. I really like the back "swoop" sperated from the main body. The back half just makes the front half stand out all the more. Very nice use of the "flex" of 1x2 bricks. The color scheme is spot on perfect. Better than the actual (...) (18 years ago, 14-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Since official LEGO models sometimes use non-transparent bricks as "windows", I thought I could do it as well. (Tiny Turbo (...) (18 years ago, 14-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains)
