| | Any Good Ideas For Custom Brick Separators?
| We all know how handy the LEGO brick separators are. I was wondering if people have modified these tools, or developed their own custom tools for removing bricks? I have heard of (but not seen) AFOLs modifying the end of separators to work on single (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jun-07, to lugnet.build)

| | Discount at local stores?
| Bryan, Can you indicate anything about whether we might expect a very significant discount at the local LEGO store? (say more than 10-15%.) I'm trying to decide whether to leave space for bricks in my luggage for the way back, or bring some extra (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jun-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

| | BeLUG Castle Standard
| Hi all, I've recently come to build some castle MOCs. Together with a few other members of the Belgian LUG we wanted to create a standard in such a way that anyone can participate in a castle layout. I know the CCC standard, but found that it works (...) (17 years ago, 16-Jun-07, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

I think you may be right, if I worked some corrugated bricks into the smooth parts of the side or something like that, it might look better. Thanks. (...) | (...) This got me to thinking, so I ran some numbers (note that math is not my strong point, and I estimated a lot). A 2x4 brick at the online PAB is $0.16. Adding 3 sets of 999 (for close to the 3,000 parts that someone quoted) 2x4 bricks shows me (...) (17 years ago, 13-Jun-07, to lugnet.market.shopping)
