  Re: Building exhaustion

(...) When you reach the "point of no return" which I have (and probably Terry also), sorting in and of itself becomes way to labor intensive. I end up with buckets that are nothing but bricks of assorted colors, with the windows, fences, slopes, (...) (25 years ago, 11-May-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

Rock Raiders --Wider is not better.

Hello again, Every once in a while I break out of lurk to post and Rock Raiders set 4970, Chrome Crusher, was the inspiration this time. As is usual in my reviews, I break out the good, the bad, and the ugly. So here goes. The Good: Lots of spunk (...) (25 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Minifig torsos...

(...) Yup! That was our thought too (Joshua pointed it out to me). Now, other than old Castle queen minifigs with 2x2x2 sloped dresses and galleons figures on the front of pirateships (both of which haven't been in production for eons) what sorts of (...) I beleive chrome plating is electroplating. Dissolved chromium ions are reduced to metallic chrome on an electrode. Do they use the plastic as the electorde and get chromium to plate on the plastic...I do not know I have not looked into it; I am (...) (25 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.general)
