  Re: Panaka is yellow?

(...) Well spoken, Scott. This whole skin-tone thing must've started back in the 60's..what'd they have for part color back then? Red, Yellow, Blue, Black and White? Given those choices, I guess it was easy enough to just crank out the yellow heads, (...) (25 years ago, 22-Dec-99, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Perhaps Lego could just say they were all Danish before. ;-) At any rate, whatever political condemnation TLC might get, not only would it be minor and virtually unheard by the REAL target market (i.e. the kiddies' parents, which may be more (...)   Re: Sir Steve interviews someone from Lego

(...) I read this as the tride-and-true mislabeling of the SpacePort series as being "space-themed." Space Port was the line that was recently discontinued, unless he's referring to the Insectoids. At any rate, none of this is really news. Why the (...) (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Is there a time machine in the house?

(...) This is a great movie. Classic stuff. There's tons of "premonition gags," situations that make fun of how things turned out after the 80's. "...and take off my Van Halen shirt before you jinx them and they split up..." Perhaps the kid in front (...) (25 years ago, 28-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

  Part counts and mini-figures

I've got a long-time question, and for some reason it's taken until now for it to occur to me to ask someone... What's the official part count in a mini-figure? Why is it that things like hats, tools, airtanks, etc., are not counted? A perfect (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

SW Lego Commercial -- MTT and AAT shown

Hey gang, Last night on Cartoon Network I saw an ad for Star Wars Lego, featuring the upcoming 7184 MTT and 7155 AAT.
