  Re: Work-in-progress improved minifig arm

Wow- that's beautiful! I'm very glad to see this- I didn't really *want* to do the part myself, but it seemed to need doing. I'll try fiddling with it in various positions. It's great to have a center of rotation that actually works. Are you (...) (23 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Looks pretty neat. Like you said, the scale isn't exactly minifig. Maybe they could be GPS controled tanks. So there wouldn't need to be room for a person inside. (...) Looks small enough. (...) This looks very promising! :) Any chance you're going to recurve the inner surface around the shoulder? It would really help avoid that "CGI intersecting solids" look that we've had going. :) Also, can I reserve judgement as to whether we (...) (23 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  New member/classic space fan!

I just want to introduce myself: My name is Jean-Baptiste (JB), I'm a 30 years old french classic space fan. I think I'm an AFOL but I still feel young (and proud of it!) Here's my question: The black minifig of my 6891 set (bought in France in (...) (23 years ago, 6-May-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Urk. I hadn't looked at the hook-hand file yet. I'd forgotten how ... unusual ... the orientation of the hand was. My opinion is, in this case, logic should prevail over continuity, and the hook-hand should be given a rational orientation. (...) (23 years ago, 2-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Where is the Queen?

A larger question would be why we didn't see a Queen Amidala minifig (in formal costume) as was pictured in the LEGO Episode I logo. All of the figs shown in both the Classic and Episode I logos were produced as illustrated... except this one.* (...) (23 years ago, 2-May-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Work-in-progress improved minifig arm

Congratulations Chris, This is a tremendous improvement. I wonder whether interior is really necessary. Personally I would be satisfied with a better-than-current exterior. May be the cost in display time is negligeable compared to a whole minifig. (...) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
