  Re: LEGO parts -- genuine?

Thank you for your answer and logical advice. Double checking with the minifig tools, I am seeing a very good fit, and as the parts otherwise match textures, edges, and colors with my LEGOs and the pictures you provided links to (I was looking on (...)   Re: LEGO parts -- genuine?

Simon, What you have is Lego made from Cellulose Acetate (or CA). That is a kind of plastic that Lego used until 1963. After that, they switched to ABS still in use today. The descriptions you use are classic CA. The color is lighter. It warps (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) The purpose is to specify viewing characteristics for a part that should be the default, but we don't want to hard-code into the part itself. Generally, it's used to specify the 'correct' color for patterned parts. So a patterned minifig head (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.cad)
