Re: LUGnet -- home at last

(...) Nonsense: LegofanX demands that Lego cease ignoring castle fans and produce a 1000 piece set, for US$50 ($A30, naturally), which is not made in ugly, useless Bionicle style, featuring Bruce Hietbrink's Aragorn minifig, and include only the (...)   Re: Rumored Castle sets now a nightmare.

(...) I just have to note this statement ... the new sets coming out *are* castle-themed, they're just not *minifig scale.* Nor are they "Bionicle," as Bionicle has its own theme. I think that's what you're really getting at. Its just perhaps some (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

Why I support LEGO through thick and thin.

To everyone at LUGNET and LEGO, I want to say this: I was first introduced to LEGO when I was five. My family and I were going on a long road trip and my parents bought me LEGO set #565 5+ Build-N-Store Chest to keep me occupied during the long (...) (...) Lego has CONSTANTLY been perfecting the designs of pieces. Witness the hole in the minifig head; the slots in the sides of the Technic pin; etc., etc., etc. The camfering is another step in the ongoing development of product, though for what (...) (...) There alway tends to be a minute amount a variation between pattern printings from brick to brick. I think your optimizations are well within accpetible limits. After all, we're not going for archival quality just the general idea. -Orion (21 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Why we need a true castle theme

Hi all, One of the common arguments in the thread on possible Bionicle/castle hybrids is that if we want real castles we can build them ourselves. I agree.
