  Re: 2004 Castle Products

(...) I was convinced after seeing the set numbers on the pirate sets (7070-...) that the sets would be minifig scaled, because recent minifig-themes (orient expedition, world city) are all in the 7-series, whereas the new 4-juniors sets (formerly (...)   wierd things are afloat at Shop@Home regarding Castle...

Reading the question and answer session with Jake and Kate with the guys from Germany... it prompted me to see the latest selection for castle from Shop@Home. I noticed something very wierd.   When did City die?

Hi, while I've been in my 'dark age', City disappeared. I was trying to check the catalogs, it seems it was sometimes around 1994. Do you believe the City can be back in the future? In minifig scale? I really don't like the police state World City (...) (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.town)

Comprehensive, but there is a interesting third kind of approach (I propose to call it the minimalist-trend) devised by Rick Clark, and I believe it's not mentioned in your article: (URL) method overrides the switch leaver mechanism completly, (...) It's an interesting idea though, and I know Nik's been working hard at setting up some troopers for it (I can tell because he's been raiding my minifig supplies)... Most Brikwars battles (...)   Re: HP new sets ???????

(...) I think we're going to see a new trend for LEGO where minifigs based on real people or movie characters will have skin colors to more closely match the person they are trying to look like. Nice scene, Nick. I love your choice for the star atop the tree. You can just barely see it, but the rubber-bands-as-ribbon on the red present works great. The string of lights also a nice touch.   The LEGO Racers theme should have its own newsgroup.

Granted, many sets of theme are Technic flavored (those with mostly technic parts), and many are slighly Town flavored (those with a minifig, pull back motor and mostly bricks/plates).
