Re: most wanted parts that dont exist?

(...) 1. Cypress tree - (URL) In any of the following colors (green, dk-green, bt-green, orange, yellow... perhaps even tan). I know they exist (or existed) in green, but the mold is shot and TLC hasn't made any effort (that we know about) to (...) (21 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

More mini Daleks (was Re: Dalek Tank)

(...) Speaking of thinking "grr", I was a few days from posting my own minifig-scale Dalek when this thread appeared. (I designed mine almost a year ago, but didn't have a digital camera until last month.) So, here's my version: (URL) to gaming, (...) I only have one brown baseplate, and just enough brown plates to make it (...) (21 years ago, 26-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

OK, since I am supposed to be one of the up and coming minifig gurus (no folks, I haven't forgotten the minifig roundtable and I will be posting on that soon (shameless plug)), I have to enter this puppy.   Re: Space MOC: Teardrop

(...) That would be the big curvy slope, right? (...) Sure, I'll take that bait... The problem is not that you can't make opening canopies, it's just that you have to overengineer it to do so. The old canopies had areas that didn't have binding (...) (21 years ago, 25-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Well, I think your entry is the most original so far. Cool idea. I also like the minifig verions of Paul Jr & Sr. So are the "propeller disks" functional or are they bits of metal that paulie tacked on to make it look cool :-) I really like (...) (...) Nice way to do a Dalek. I recently made one myself, though it's a bit too tall in relation to a minifig. I couldn't quite come up with a way to do the eyeball, but I may try your idea, as well as shortening the eyestalk too. Here's the link to (...) (21 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

The truly sad thing about your press release is it is believable. A couple of years ago I'd have laughed at the concept, nowadays its almost believable. I feel sorry for Jake. Every stride forward made in fostering closer relations with the (...) (21 years ago, 1-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)
