  Re: KK2 minifig armour decal

(...) I was toying with the idea of stripping the decals myself. Might let that be for now though Leg Godt Travis Matheson (20 years ago, 23-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

  KK2 minifig armour decal

Went and bought 2 - 8777 Vladek Encounter sets last night with the intention of removing the decal on a Vladek armour in order to get a blank black armour. Got to work with a cloth and some Brasso. It seems the metallic element in the design makes (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Rush: "Lego is a Tool for 4 year olds"

(...) Agreed. I expect Libertopia to be a GREAT place to start a commune, for example. No pesky laws about how many unmarried people can live in the same place to get in the way (although you may have to find a property not already encumbered with (...) (...) Yes, at minifig eye level. That's the perspective I'm personally most interested in. No, at normal viewing level. But that's OK. We usually have at least one endloop visible anyway. and both ends if the mountain isn't there. (20 years ago, 29-Jul-04, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Got my first look at this set yesterday (my son had one bought for him). As far as printing goes, the printing on the black armour isn't too offensive, it had a metallic sheen to it though. I could get you an stl file for a baseplate (whatever number of studs by whatever number of studs) if you'd like as well. Those would be (...)   Bot Contest Entry - NurseBot

Here's my entry to the Bot contest. (2 URLs) This one is called NurseBot, but that's just because this particular one is currently employed as a technician in a medical MOC that I'm working on (thus the white paint scheme and blue "scrubs").   Silkscreening parts

Hey nice, somebody made a new forum just in time for my question. Has anybody tried silkscreening onto Lego parts? I've been doing a lot of custom decals lately, running label paper through my inkjet, but I can't help but wonder if silkscreening (...) (20 years ago, 5-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts.mod)

  What to call this scale?

Check out this really neat folder on Brickshelf: (URL) creator calls it "microscale" but I think most would agree it's not really microscale (smaller than minifig scale). I would just like to publicly thank the person(s) responsible for minifig NHL sets.
