  Re: Minifig scale mobile crane

Looks nice David. I'm having trouble seeing the animation though (my compputer is too slow). (20 years ago, 24-Jul-04, to lugnet.technic)

Runs off to try and find out where to get the slop piece used for the chest. -Dan Rubin Chair of (...) (20 years ago, 8-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Permanent Brick "printing"

My name is Tommy Armstrong and and with my son Peyton,we actually engrave letters and graphics onto bricks (we started the brick namebadges at BrickFest), minifig torsos, etc. Although it has limitations as regards to multiple colors, it does have (...) (...) Hi Ross, Thanks for your positive comments... A few stats about the larger crane: - Crawler base is about 100 studs square - The boom is 3m (10') long - A quick test showed it can lift this truck: (URL) with the boom at 45 degrees or a 250cm (...)   Re: ldraw newbie  [DAT]

(...) Do you mean LDraw meta-commands? Or some command system called META? Anyway, you could look at LDAO's set of meta-commands for modelling minifigs. At least as a starting point. It's pretty straight-forward. LDAO's minifig modeller generates (...) (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad)

Bot contest: New pictures and more entries.

As promised, I’ve been home in the weekend to finish my Brawnbot series with some of the nasty things it can do to a minifig. (URL) No cheating! It can hold it! Furthermore Brawnbot is high enough to load a container onto a monorailwagon on the high (...) (20 years ago, 10-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: 3vil Bot Contest Entry - 3G0R

(...) I love an inspiring small MOC. Somehow I feel like I can't comment on the bigger MOCs -- perhaps because my own MOCs have, to date, been rather small. The use of the minifig helmets as shoulders was a stroke of 3vil genius. But then, flipping (...) (20 years ago, 10-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)
