| | Re: Idea for better LEGO Factory building
|
| (...) Me too, actually, as long as no elements not from the palettes are introduced. I may have missed something when I perused the XML looking for things that it might key off, though. (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

| (...) Joe, what did you test? Did you use this small file to try to upload a design to the gallery for others to buy? My concern is that might not work, I couldn't tell what you meant, but if you tested it, coolness! (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

| | Re: Lego Parts You Hate....
|
| (...) Minitalia bricks are like that! I'm glad that the headlight/washing machine brick has been redeemed! It's one of my faves. I can see why Gary doesn't care for it, it's indeed a poor substitute for a 1x1 window brick, but it's tres useful! (19 years ago, 30-Aug-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts, FTX)

| | Request for LEGO Factory bag content information

| LEGO have stated that they will not be answering questions about LEGO Factory here on LUGNET. So people that are interested probably should watch over on LEGOFan.org There is a request there: (URL) someone that currently can't post here, for info (...) (19 years ago, 30-Aug-05, to lugnet.general)

|
| Took a crack at this, converted my yard tower design (as found in the Virtual LEGO book) as closely as I could (within reason, I switched to medium slope roof bricks since low slopes in a well rounded assortment in any earth tone are rare in that (...) | | Re: LDGLite (on OS X) and Bricksmith
|
| (...) Right. Set the lines REALLY fat, render REALLY huge, then shrink the image which gives you nice antialiasing effects... LDLite now lets you set infinite canvas How closely does LDGLite mimic the switches/flags, etc? (19 years ago, 26-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

More importantly, how else are we going to publicise our models and drive incremental sales into the (...) (19 years ago, 26-Aug-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

| (...) Look into the MegaPOV enhancement, I think that adds edge lines. (that's about all I know, I render using LDLite with fat edge lines configured in when I am doing instructions. I THINK maybe LDGLite supports that too? not sure) Hope that (...) (19 years ago, 26-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

| (...) I brought in a nifty little microfig (1) hoversled/skycar that Nik had doodled up in 1.3 into 1.4... it told me about missing parts, so I had it fetch them. Then I tried uploading it. It would not let me upload it to the Factory gallery (...) (19 years ago, 26-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
