(...) Me too, actually, as long as no elements not from the palettes are introduced. I may have missed something when I perused the XML looking for things that it might key off, though. (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Idea for better LEGO Factory building

(...) Joe, what did you test? Did you use this small file to try to upload a design to the gallery for others to buy? My concern is that might not work, I couldn't tell what you meant, but if you tested it, coolness! (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) (snip laudatory comments) (...) Let's try quoting the whole thing that I said, shall we, instead of quoting out of context? (...) I stand by what I say, LDD is in my view harder to use, by far, than any of the LDraw editors, at least for (...) (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Reasons to L-CAD (was: Re: Am I the only person who finds Lego CAD systems infuriating?)

(...) Here's one example, (of many on BrickWiki and elsewhere) where a photo would not be nearly as good, as false colors and schematics really drive the point home. (URL) This sort of illustrating has been used to good effect in presentations (...) (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Lego Parts You Hate....

(...) Minitalia bricks are like that! I'm glad that the headlight/washing machine brick has been redeemed! It's one of my faves. I can see why Gary doesn't care for it, it's indeed a poor substitute for a 1x1 window brick, but it's tres useful! (19 years ago, 30-Aug-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts, FTX)

Request for LEGO Factory bag content information

LEGO have stated that they will not be answering questions about LEGO Factory here on LUGNET. So people that are interested probably should watch over on LEGOFan.org There is a request there: (URL) someone that currently can't post here, for info (...)   Re: First MOC or vignette to use new gold bricks...... I think?

(...) Cute! Several of the Build the Trust entries used gold bricks, though those bricks were not obtained from the tubs. This might be the first VIG to use them, however. (19 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  LF Yard Tower

Took a crack at this, converted my yard tower design (as found in the Virtual LEGO book) as closely as I could (within reason, I switched to medium slope roof bricks since low slopes in a well rounded assortment in any earth tone are rare in that (...)   Re: LDGLite (on OS X) and Bricksmith

(...) Right. Set the lines REALLY fat, render REALLY huge, then shrink the image which gives you nice antialiasing effects... LDLite now lets you set infinite canvas How closely does LDGLite mimic the switches/flags, etc? (19 years ago, 26-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)
