  Re: Chuckle

(...) That's quite the meme there... (URL) first 50 links all appear to be just about word for word repeats of this story if you just go by the result excerpts the page results show (maybe more but that was about as deep as I was willing to go!)   Re: Train Factory palette

(...) Ya, good catch. Dark green is a sweet color and replacing everything green in JM's proposal with dark green is the way to go. (...) I guess I come at this from, is this going to replace all the other service packs out there, all the other sets (...) (19 years ago, 22-Sep-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Train Factory palette

(...) Wouldn't this palette be for those people that want to build MORE trains than what the sets with motors enable? I may not be average, far from it, but I have **plenty** of motors already, and hardly ANY tan 1x4x3 train windows. (== "none" ) So (...) (19 years ago, 21-Sep-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Train Factory palette

(...) Ooh, I like your V2... it has lots of parts that non trainies would like too (they can trade off the few train specific things like wheels...) Some nits to pick I think I'd go with more large windows than small, maybe 2:1? Have to agree on the (...) (19 years ago, 20-Sep-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Train Factory palette

(...) True, true, but I'm thinking I would almost rather not waste the slots in the palette with clicky hinged versions... they're that bad. I'd rather ask for what I actually want and be told no, then decide what to do. YMMV of course. (19 years ago, 18-Sep-05, to lugnet.trains)

(...) That comment basically applies to ANY part being considered that has two versions.. (it wasn't really mentioned yet, but it would apply to the tailgate part, to the club car window part, etc etc) (19 years ago, 17-Sep-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: LDD "hackers" made CNET

(...) Excellent question. We did get 2 rounds of answers but they weren't very "meaty". (...) I think as the article said, LEGO are constrained as to what they can say officially/publicly.   Re: Chirality

(...) Good stuff. Seems BrickWiki fodder! I would footnote that many paired parts are not TRULY enantiomers since the logos on the studs are not reversed. But that is a very unimportant footnote since they are functionally mirrored. (19 years ago, 8-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.parts)
