| | Re: Gray Tub
|
| (...) Thankyou HoMa for posting this vital info as fast as you could. And thanks to Ken for getting this awesome spy photo. I'm leaving Zurich right after work to drive to Gunzberg and order at least a containerload. Or maybe not, I have to check my (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.legoland, FTX)

| (...) I would like to see move-rename moved up a few spots if at all possible. If it were me, I'd like to see it at the top of the list. It's more important in my view than any of the others. But thanks for posting the priority list, whether you (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.general)

| (...) I think I have some pics of Jason's Thomas in my gallery from when I was in the UK and at the NBLTC STEAM planning meeting. (URL) specifically: (URL) through 1167 and also 1170 Hope that helps... (...) That's a very lovely Gas Electric in the (...) (21 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.trains)

| | Re: New train MOC pictures
|
| (...) Bevel gears? WAY overengineered. Someone did a tilting metroliner that uses no gears at all, just slanted truck mounts. VERY clever. This was at least 3 years ago IIRC... I am 80% sure (but not 100%) it was either E. Brok or J. Mathis. (21 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.uk)

| (...) Wow! That's aMAZing. Let me add to the chorus of accolades, very nice model. My questions are these: I'm not clear on how the centrifuge is arranged (I never figured it out in the movie either...), is it in the vertical plane while the pod (...) | | Re: Naming Technic Liftarms
|
| (...) Yes, except that there is still nomeclature confusion elsewhere, some systems use Technic Bricks for the bricks with holes and some systems us Technic Beams, I believe. So I think the rounded designation is helpful. (...) except that the 1x2 (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary)

| (...) I'd advise just going through it again and maybe this time dropping a note to Todd about it. Right now I believe he has to approve all of these, although there may be changes in train to spread the load a bit. (21 years ago, 28-Mar-04, to lugnet.people.newbie)

| | Re: Smallest smooth cube challenge
|
| (...) Wow, that's clever. Nice work! So I am wondering if it is even possible to go smaller. The geometric ratio seems to suggest not, but then I keep thinking that's the smallest you can go and someone goes smaller. (21 years ago, 28-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

| | Re: Snatch it?

In my view, all efforts to contact the author should be taken (and it sounds like you've been doing just that) but I am not sure that "snatching" a part, even one that's very rough and strongly desired and really only good for a (...)
