  Re: Death to the FigLasters

(...) That's a good question! I have always twisted the hands into the "right side-up" (to me, anyway) position. I've never even thought about it. But my girlfriend, who isn't really into LEGO, but likes to put together my sets once in a while, (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) Here are some pics of an elephant I made a while back (it was at brickfest). I'm not totally happy with the size. It seems like it should be bigger, but I'm not sure how big an elephant actually is. (URL) Nelson Jr. (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) he (...) There's also a tendency in research to find what you were looking for. If LEGO wanted to put out quality sets with high piece counts and playability, they could find the research to back that up, too. I think LEGO does what it wants. (...) (...) Does this make any sense? Why would you want to make a product that a kid can be done with in 5 minutes and then forget about? Wouldn't you want kids to spend a lot of time with your product, so they become attached to it (like I did when I (...) (24 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.dear-lego)
