2 axel motorised truck with 3 stud center wheel spacing

A Motorised 2 axel truck with 3 stud wheel spacing. This is a custom modified 9v train motor. (URL) I've been toying with this idea for a while. It seems a shame that LEGO makes only the one style motor truck. I used a small DC motor and a pair of (...) (20 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)

Re: rtlToronto19: Balance of Power and other upcoming events

(...) Yeah, the center of gravity of the whole assembly is ABOVE the beam, so the whole thing is by definition unstable. Weird. I didn't quite get it either. Are we missing something?   Re: 8x9 foot LEGO menorah constructed in Burlingame, CA

(...) Yeah, that also struck me as very odd. It hardly seems like LEGO to be so discouraging, and besides, what's so impossible about an 8'x9' LEGO menorah anyhow? I'm wondering if "It can't be done" was not LEGO's answer to "Is it possible to build (...) (20 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.fun.holiday, FTX)
