  Re: More 1999 Figs... ?

(...) I couldn't disagree more. Lego should go back to simplified minifigs, they look much better. I think it is a mistake for them to go away from the classics they built their toy empire on. Also, I have noticed that since I have been off of RTL (...) (26 years ago, 24-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

Re: To buy or not to buy...

I hope my message doesn't imply that I simply base value on money - the 7740 is my favorite Lego train of all time - I wouldn't sell mine for $500. The prices I mentioned are just observations of how much these items typically go for in auctions (...) (26 years ago, 9-Oct-98, to lugnet.trains)

Re: who was the 1st non-north american to possess mindstorms???

(...) "Chick Flick" is the more common term, AFAIK. Though I've never liked the term "flick" to refer to films (it really cheapens them in my mind), here it's warranted because the rhyme fits in well with the entire term. _Willow_ was a chick flick (...)
