  Extremely Rare MISB Mosaik Set Located...
 
An example of the oldest non-building LEGO set in MISB has been located. It is the 1955 dated 1300 "Mosaik Set", sold only in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Well here's another unknown LEGO set (there's still plenty out there!).... It was purchased by a German acquaintance at a German auction, and is unlike any wooden box set I've seen before... very unusual. It has 24 compartments... which is the (...) (12 years ago, 10-Jan-13, to lugnet.general)

Another set that had 2 variations came out in 1989... the 6661 MOBILE TV STUDIO SET. This set came with a "TV" pattern on two 1x4x3 blue panels, and two1x1 yellow tiles with the number "2" on them. (...) Anders, those 1949 era bricks (only 2x2 and 2x4 would have been made that year)... did not have any LEGO identification on them. From 1949-52 there was no LEGO logo on the studs, and none on the underside. From 1952-55 there was no LEGO logo (...) (12 years ago, 30-Dec-12, to lugnet.general)
