  Re: Transparent colors in POV-Ray

(...) Probably first-come, first-served which is essentially random as far as the user is concerned. As an idea you might be able to work around the problem by shrinking all studs in the completed model. Shrinking them by a couple of percent would (...)   Re: Looking for dimensions of LEGO bricks.

(...) Given that Denmark went fully metric in 1912 and that a 1x1 brick is 8mm x 8mm x 9.6mm (stud exclusive) it seems unlikely that imperial will work out better for you. Although it does so happen that 8mm is quite close to 5/16inch. Tim (15 years ago, 25-May-09, to lugnet.cad)

Wanted: Picture of LEGO SF GP-38 Loco “Warbonnet” design.

Does anyone have some pictures of a LEGO SF GP-38 Loco “Warbonnet” design as discussed in the "Getting Started With LEGO Trains" book by Jacob McKee?   Re: Minifig Segway

(...) First person I know of who pulled that off was Steve Ringe from MichLUG, and he did it to have driving cars on a Town/Train layout. (...) It might be harder than you think. The Segway is a pretty small model, so I think the easiest way to pull (...) (15 years ago, 18-Jul-09, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Holt grad killed in crash was top designer for LEGO

(...) Damn. I met Richard at NI Week one year, and had a chance to enjoy his company. Not only was he a tremendously creative person within LEGO, but he was a lot of fun to just hang around with. I'm very sad to hear this, and he will be missed. (15 years ago, 7-Jul-09, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.robotics)
