Just a heads up.  Sluban of China has just entered the brick train business.
Their first locomotive is a Stephenson's Locomotive, one piece with sound box
powered by 2 double A batteries.  The locomotive is one piece.  Track is
plastic, rails the same length as the old 9v track Lego made.  Guage is just
slightly wider than 9v lego.  Cars, rail stations, and service vehicles are all
brick built.  Locomotive has on/off, and forward/reverse switch on locomotive
roof, excellent sound box, drive wheels operate realistically, not like a model
car.
