  Re: LDConfig_Alt.ldr

(...) You can try to replicate the sun with just one bright light source that is very far away, but the light will not scatter the way it does on the surface of the Earth. That, and if you have ever tried to take a picture of LEGO outside on a very (...) (14 years ago, 29-Aug-10, to lugnet.cad)

  LEGO Universe parts cleanup etiquette

I have two authored parts under my belt, but both of them were modeled strictly by eye and patience. Now with the LEGO Universe Team releasing part files in need of cleanup I feel like I can contribute more. I've been working on cleaning up a part (...)   Re: Catenary and/or Trolley wire

(...) Hi Larry! Long time no see! If you’re not committed to being LEGO-pure with the wires, there’s a great model railroad solution. I saw it demonstrated at a train show several years back and logged it into my memory in case I (or you) ever (...) (14 years ago, 12-Oct-10, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: "Lego Minifigures"?

(...) Series 1 bags from both markets say all components were made in China. I also checked the standard arm on one of my Robots and it has the Chinese Indent, which I noticed on one of my S2 minifigs yesterday as well. The Max minifig that was (...) (14 years ago, 10-Sep-10, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Catenary and/or Trolley wire

(...) For trolleys maybe you could use (URL) or (URL) which protrude only a little. Catenary would probably be more difficult, can't think of a good (LEGO only) way to do those. ROSCO (14 years ago, 14-Oct-10, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) Yes, maybe so. I would love to see them there, but I forsee huge discussions on, for example: * Scale. We decided earlier to use a different scale than other parts from LEGO. That may likely be discussed again. I think the only reasonable (...) (14 years ago, 6-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
