  Re: Zellers sale

(...) Actually, I kind of like the Jack Stone sets. It would be nice if they were a little cheaper, but they actually look half decent, and they've got some neat parts. It would be real cool if the stucture parts were available in large quantities, (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.tor, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I got your Jack Stone steering wheel right here, baby! I cheated a little- it is functional in ldraw, but looks like... uh, something that rhymes with "species". But it looks great in POV-Ray.   Name this Jack Stone part

This is a new part from the Jack Stone line. It has a part number on the bottom, # 30645. The speciman I have here is black (from 4610). You may have seen it in the set images as a floor piece for the buildings. It is 1 brick high. Is is nominally (...) (22 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) WHy not have the Jack Stone crap for the step after duplo, as Lego says, but also have classic town at the same time? Doesn't seem so far-fetched to me. (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

(...) Jack Stone is not as bad as most people think... and the scale does allow for greater detail without making vehicles ridiculously large. And then there's technic fig scale :-) Cheers Richie Dulin (21 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

2004 Alpha Team: The Good, the Bad, and the Jack Stone

Hey all, Much to my surprise, my local consignment shop had the complete theme. After looking over all the sets, I bought #4743 Ice Blade ($10) and #4742 Chill Speeder ($4). The idea seems to be Alpha Team meets Ice Planet 2002 with a dash of (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)
