  Shopping Update

Stopped at TRU on Merivale today. They have ALL the X-Pods now. A bin full. And they have a LOT of stuff on sale, between 30-45% off on sports, racers, some new creator & town stuff, and of course Jack Stone. The 45% was mainly the extra-large (...)   Re: Dr.Ock now at large in BigW

(...) Yep...K-Mart Cambellfield had them on Sunday. The only ways to tell which sort of set you have is to: a) look at the left of the front and check the age (4+ is Jack Stone scale) b) look carefully at the figs in the pictures. Prices are (...) (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Thoughts on Spy Photos of New Trains

(...) The white one looks like the train version of the (URL) new airliners> - i.e. like a Playmobil set. It wouldn't bother me (as much) if these were 4+/Jack Stone sets. But the airliner has almost the same age recommendation (5-12) as something (...) (19 years ago, 6-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: jack stone

(...) No instructions!? I didn't realise that. (Mind you, the Mickey Mouse instructions, like the figures, leave a lot to be desired). I liked the disclaimer on the box saying that Jack Stone wasn't a real person. Fortunately, my three and a half (...) (23 years ago, 31-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Why the absence of LD in their own newsgroup?

(...) I'm a fan of the product, not the company. My support of TLC as a company is due only to the product itself. I have some serious issues with TLC's choice of products (Jack Stone, Bionicle, etc.) and with some of their business practices (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Sidewalks for Minifig Safety

(...) Well, by now, I have come to the conclusion, that they will go out of production. Remember, that's what happened to the previous (grey) ones, each time Lego started to produce a new type of roadplates. I don't like the Jack Stone roadplates (...) (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Ladder Requests

1) Could someone please correct the old three-piece ladder parts (850, 851, and 852)? These are twelve studs long in the real world but they're thirteen studs long in the LDRAW world. 2) Has anyone modeled the Fabuland / Mickey Mouse / Jack Stone (...) (21 years ago, 8-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad)

Re: 2 MOCs in one post (also) (what a day!)

(...) Oh Man! It totally does! I remember Earthworm Jim flying around on a big jet engine, this is pretty close, though it might be closer to Earthworm Jim with the prop in there that the Jack Stone engines come with. Also, I really like the cockpit (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Knights’ Kingdom™ is ugly.

(...) What you have to look at is the age ranges. Harry Potter, which is similar to older castle in complexity and use of parts, is 8+,7+,8+. Knights Kingdom is 5+,6+,7+. Its one step up from Jack Stone. If you want to compare the old castle stuff (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jul-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  2004 Pirates .... Creator/Jack Stone figures?
