  Re: Cliffton Castle

(...) I'm not a castle guy, but this is very impressive. I like the inclusion of water and trees as natural elements. The building style incorporating stone and wood buildings is very nice. And of course the inclusion of all the little details like (...) (19 years ago, 13-Jun-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Timber trestle crossing water

Prototype question: When a timber trestle bridge crosses water, is it usual to have the timber bents permanently submerged? Or is it usual to have stone or concrete piers supporting the trestle bents? I've tried google, but can't find a clear (...) (19 years ago, 27-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Rims of the Ferrari 8:1 (8674)

Hello to you all, Have you noticed the strange coloring of the rims of the 8674 Ferari race car? The rims are stone gray or blueish light gray. The outer side, which you see when looking at the wheel does have an aluminium colored paint. the inside (...) (18 years ago, 9-Aug-06, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.color)

Re: Castle Gate and Castle Corner Tower

(...) I like it. Some elements---particularly the use of 2x2x3 slopes and the windows---add a great deal of visual interest to what could otherwise be boring walls. Unfortunately, they also make it prohibitivly expensive to make a whole castle/town. (...) (20 years ago, 9-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle)

This has be mentioned before, but since the search engine is out of order I'll start a new thread. The new site at www.bionicle.com (auto-refers to www.lego.com/bionicle/) requires flash (4?) to view. Once that's going it does look nice although (...)
