I've found the Hall Effect switches that All Electronics sells to be quite useful. Their part number is the HESW-2 and they are 75 cents each, or 10 for $6.50. (100 for $60.00). Thanks everybody for the explanations! Everything start to make sense now. I understand that a resitor will limit only voltage across the circuit, but not current, this is very clear also. Thanks to Kevin the 8485 Control Center II scans are available and I can finally build the T-Rex. I assumed no-one would want to part with these cables, so I found a way to make my own length of flex cables with 0.065 string trimmer line, making the (...)
