  Who can name this set?

Ok. I found this bunch of legos at a garage sale this weekend. And part of the set appears to be a classic space set. Normally I am very good at IDing a set, but space is not my thing. I am stumped, HELP. The minifig has yellow legs, yellow arms, (...) (24 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.space)

Here's my idea: A playset re-creation of the Death Star trench battle from Episode IV. I'd love to see two minifig X-wings (Luke and Wedge), with Vader's Tie Fighter, and a semi-built up trench (read--LOTS of er..new..gray), perhaps with a turret or (...)   Looking for early 70s set ID

Hi, all, I'm trying to figure out which was my first Lego set. I've dug around the LUGNET set guide, but I'm stumped.
