Johnathan, thanks for the effort, but Chris Giddens found the set.  Its this
one:

Its the small scooter thing in the middle of the picture.  I was thinking
that it was just a small set all by itself, when in fact it was a small
"set" of a bigger set.

Thanks again for the help.

Thanks Rick, but no.  Its from before there were any sub-divisions of Space.
This thing is from a set dating in the mid-80's, I'm positive.  But thanks
for the help.

Alright Classic Space gurus out there I need some help trying to figure out
what set a part came from.  I have in my collection a white version of this
part:

The set came with 2 of these.  They were placed in-line at the bottome of
the craft, kinda like in this set, in fact this set looks very close to what
I seem to remember the set in question looks like, only it had only 2 jets
in a line on the bottom:

I remember the set being small, probably less than 50 pieces.

I've searched through the set database and can't seem to find a set that
matches what I think it looked like.  So can anyone point me to the proper
set.  If I'm going crazy and the set I'm thinking of never existed can you
at least indentify what sets a white jet engine came with I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Jason

My guess would be the Blacktron II set: {Unnamed} with link here...
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/1479 . You can clearly see the two white
enignes. I have one of these sets sitting at my computer desk! Along with an
IP2002, a SP2, and  UFO minsets!

Wait.  You said that is was dated roughly 80's, could it be the Futuron
Hovercraft?  Check the Futuron sets, they had many white parts, and a
Futuron set is likely the one you are thinking of.  Please tell if it turns
out to be the Hovercraft.
