Re: Pics: 8 wide Super Chief cars

(...) And shudder you should! Although on my personal layout I only utilize a curve-straight-curve...raight-etc turns, on the uncompleted GMLTC layout the curves are tight (essentially the line is currently a dog bone) and my cars *literary* made (...) (23 years ago, 18-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains)

Now, all you need is a vendor selling Kansas City BBQ, and it would be perfect! JohnG, GMLTC - (...)   Its DONE!!!!!! (after 1.5 hours)

I made a UCS tie defender, and it needed a fact sheet on the bottom of the stand like the other ucs models. I just needed to make one! I fanally finished it, so I'll give it to you guys as a teaser to a web page I should have up by the end of Feb (...) (24 years ago, 17-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Mountain Town - A train module experiment

(...) But you can have a different layout every time - ours is pretty much fixed in place... Modular has its advantages *and* dis-advantages, just like 'plywood' does! One good piece of news from this show - we didn't have any locomotives hit the (...) (23 years ago, 18-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

Re: Mountain Town - A train module experiment

(...) Setup Friday was around 2 hours, that included building a new rack for transporting modules, and setting up a 'play area' for kids to build and run trains. Saturday morning we spent another hour working on the electrics for the layout, Conan (...) (23 years ago, 18-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

  Request For Comment -WILTC

This is a general request to see if there would be enough interest in creating a Wisconsin LEGO Train Club (WILTC) in the Central/Southern Wisconsin area. I am located in Madison which makes getting to either NILTC or GMLTC a bit of a haul. If you (...) (23 years ago, 17-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Radio Control LEGO Tank

(...) I know Dan Siskind brought a work-in-progress tank to one of our GMLTC meetings a few weeks ago. He used the bases from the radio controlled Bionicle sets, and was trying to "crush" cars on our work table! I don't know if he has any completed (...) (23 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.general)

(...) That IS cool. I can't wait to see what they come up with. I am looking forward to more great ideas on how to make interesting layouts w/o the loss of flexibility and huge brick requirement.   Mountain Town - A train module experiment

The next update on my site is a page showing my Mountain Town train module. It is a fully brickscaped train module of a small town (or part of a small town). Wow, Kim- where to begin? What you have done is excellent-- very interesting to the eye. When a module or scene can draw your attention in as yours does, it is very effective and pleasing indeed.   Re: Mountain Town - A train module experiment
